More Youth Workers at the Bus Interchange: Increase on-the-ground support and presence of youth engagement workers to create a safer, more welcoming space for rangatahi.
Turn Division Street into a Living Street: Reimagine Division Street as a people-first laneway — with trees, outdoor seating, lighting, public art, and pop-up space for small businesses or community events.
Improved Public Lighting: Deliver upgraded, safer lighting across Central Riccarton, prioritising key laneways, walkways, and poorly lit streets near the interchange and town centre.
Community Partnership with Westfield Riccarton:

This partnership can also support shared investment in improved lighting, urban design, and coordinated community safety around the mall precinct. -
